Last month, we got to see the design of Realme GT 2 Pro where we saw a Nexus 6P-inspired design and also got to know that this will be the most expensive phone by Realme, priced at almost 799 USD. In case you don’t know, Realme has officially announced that it is launching the GT 2 series on the 4th of January. This also means there is also a vanilla Realme GT 2 launching that day.
Anyways, now, the GT 2 Pro has shown up on TENAA, the Chinese Certification Agency. This listing reveals almost all the specifications of this phone so let’s talk about all of them in this article.
Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED with a Quad-HD+ resolution, making it the first phone by the brand with a Quad-HD display. There is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC under the hood, paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. There are three cameras on the back where the primary shooter has a 50 Megapixel sensor, the secondary shooter also has a 50MP sensor, and then there is a 2MP camera, most likely for macro shots. The selfie camera has a 32MP sensor.
Now, the TENAA listing reveals the battery size to be 2,440mAh, so this means it is the battery size of one of the two cells that the phone has. So, it is safe to assume that the second cell is of almost the same capacity, resulting in a total battery size of around 5,000mAh.
As Realme has already revealed, the Realme GT 2 Pro comes with an ultrawide camera having a 150-degree Field-Of-View, making it the first ultrawide camera on a smartphone with such a wide field of view.
Now, you may be seeing the above images being shared by Realme on its social media handles. These are the images of the Master Edition and not the regular Realme GT 2 Pro. So design-wise, the GT 2 Pro will have the design that the leaked renders showed us.
Anyways, the launch is still more than a week away, so we will get to know even more about the Realme GT 2 series in the coming days. Stay tuned!
