Realme is on a weird trajectory lately. The company keeps launching the same phone under different series with little to no changes. In August, the Realme 11x 5G was launched in India with the Dimensity 6100+ chipset. Then, in September, we got the Narzo 60x 5G, the same phone as the 11x 5G but with a 50MP rear camera instead of 64MP. Today, we got the Realme C67 5G in India, a rebrand of the Narzo 60x 5G.
What’s weird is the pricing. Realme 11x 5G was launched at ₹14,999 (6GB RAM), and the Narzo 60x 5G at ₹12,999 (4GB RAM). The C67 5G starts at ₹13,999, and the base model has 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. So, the question is, why would someone go for the C67 5G instead of the Narzo 60x 5G since you get the same features for a lower price?
Realme did not even bother to bring some new color options for the C67 5G. The phone comes in the same two colors as the Narzo 60x 5G, just that the names are changed to Sunny Oasis & Dark Purple. The only difference is that the C67 5G has an IP54 rating, while the Narzo 60x 5G doesn’t.
There is no change in the spec sheet. The Realme C67 5G has a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD with up to 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0.
The company should’ve at least launched the phone with the latest Android version, but even that’s not the case.
Here is the pricing for the Indian market –
- 4GB + 128GB – ₹13,999
- 6GB+ 128GB – ₹14,999
The first sale is on December 20 and the phone will be available on Realme India’s website and Flipkart.
