The price starts at ₹7,499

Release Date
June 20, 2022
Starting Price
₹7,499

The ‘C’ series by Realme includes the company’s entry-level phones, normally priced under or around ₹10,000 in India. Today, the company launched yet another phone under this series named the Realme C30. As the name suggests, this is cheaper than the likes of C31 & C35, which are already available in the Indian market. Starting at ₹7,499, this is, in fact, the most affordable phone by Realme this year.

This is an entry-level phone, so it isn’t surprising that there is a polycarbonate build. But, what is surprising is the fact that the phone has a micro-USB port. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom alongside the speaker grill. On the front, the C30 has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera and a big bottom chin.

Under the hood, Realme C30 is powered by the Unisoc T612 SOC. Interestingly, this is the same SOC that powers the Realme C31, a phone that starts at ₹9,299, almost ₹2000 higher than the starting price of the C30. It is built on the 12nm process & has an octa-core processor. There is 2GB or 3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB UFS 2.2 storage. Since the phone has a triple card slot, you can also add a microSD card along with two SIM cards.

There is a single camera on the rear, and it has an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens. This camera can shoot FHD videos at 30fps. For selfies, Realme C30 has a 5MP camera. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports standard 10W charging. Android 11 runs out of the box with Realme UI Go Edition on top.

Finally, there is a 6.5-inch 720p display with up to 120Hz touch-sampling rate.

Realme C30 comes in two colors named Lake Blue and Bamboo Green. Here is the pricing –

  • 2GB + 32GB – ₹7,499
  • 3GB + 32GB – ₹8,299

The first sale of the phone takes place on the 27th of June, and you can buy it via Realme India’s website or Flipkart.
