Realme C3 launched in India today & as the name suggests, this is the third phone under the ‘C’ series of entry-level smartphones from the company. The previous two phones, i.e., Realme C1 & C2, were a huge hit & we are expecting the same to be the case with this newly launched device, thanks to the great specs that it offers at a great price.
REALME C3 – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
Realme introduced the “Sunrise” design with the Realme 5i & the C3 has the same design on the rear. There is a dual-camera setup placed on the top left. Thanks to the “Sunrise” design, the phone not only looks beautiful, but there is a textured surface on the back that means it is going to attract lesser fingerprints & prevent unwanted scratches.
The micro-USB port is placed on the bottom alongside the headphone jack. On the front, there is a display with a waterdrop notch on top.
It is a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ mini-drop display with 89.8% screen-to-body ratio. There is Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top.
Realme C3 is the first smartphone to launch with the MediaTek Helio G70 SOC & as the name suggests, it is a “G” series SOC from MediaTek just like the Helio G90/G90T. The 12nm Helio G70 is a gaming-centric chipset for budget phones & it is great to see an entry-level phone like the C3 having this SOC.
There is 3/4GB RAM & 32/64GB storage that is expandable, thanks to the dedicated microSD card slot.
There is a dual-camera setup on the back that includes a primary 12-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture & PDAF and a secondary 2MP depth sensor. There is a 5MP f/2.4 camera on the front for selfies. The rear camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
Finally, there is a massive 5,000mAh battery & the phone also supports Reverse Charging. The charger included in the box is a standard 10W charger. The Realme C3 is also the first smartphone from the company that features Realme UI out of the box.
