Realme launched two new budget phones in the Indian market today under the “C” series named Realme C12 & Realme C15. It is worth mentioning that the C15 launched last month whereas the C12 a couple of days ago in Indonesia. The price starts at Rs 8,999 for the C12 & goes up to Rs 10,999 for the C15. There isn’t much difference between the C12 & C15 except for the cameras & the charging speed.
The only difference in terms of the design is that the C12 has three cameras on the back, whereas the C15 has a Quad camera setup. Except this, everything is the same, whether it is the screen size, the ports, thickness etc. Both phones feature a Geometric Gradient Design with textured back panel that is going to help in getting a better grip on the phone & also minimizing the scratches.
In terms of the specs as well, there is not much difference. Both phones have a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel & MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. While the C12 comes with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, the C15 comes with either 3GB or 4GB RAM & 32GB or 64GB storage.
The triple camera setup on the Realme C12 includes a primary 13 Megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, a secondary 2 Megapixel B&W sensor, and a third 2 Megapixel Macro camera. There is a 5 Megapixel camera for selfies on the front.
The Realme C15 has the same rear camera setup but includes an extra 8 Megapixel UltraWide camera which is missing on the C12. On the front, it has an 8 Megapixel selfie camera.
Finally, the USP of both phones is the massive 6,000mAh battery which is the biggest battery that Realme has ever put in a phone. Now, while the Realme C15 comes with 18W Charger in the box, the C12 doesn’t support any Fast Charging, so there is the normal 10W Charger included with the device. Both phones have a micro-USB port & a Triple Card Slot.
