Realme C12 launched in Indonesia, comes with a 6,000mAh battery

Realme C15 & C12 are launching in the Indian market on August 18th & while Realme C15 is already official in Indonesia, the company launched the Realme C12 today in the Indonesian market. There is not much difference between the C15 & C12 except for the fact that C12 has one less camera & slower charging speed.

Realme C12

C12 comes with a ‘Geometric Gradient’ design on the back & the back panel has a textured finish for a better grip & also to minimize the fingerprints. There is a triple camera setup placed on the top left in a square module & the fingerprint scanner is also on the back. Unlike the Realme C11, there isn’t a vertical strip with big Realme branding on the back.

On the front, there is a display with a waterdrop notch on top. The phone has a micro-USB port on the bottom & there is a triple card slot.

Realme C12

Coming to the specs, the biggest USP of the Realme C12 is its huge 6,000mAh battery which is more than enough to last a full day. Unlike Realme C15, there is no fast charging support, so you get a normal 10W charger in the box. There is reverse charging support.

The display on the front is a 6.5-inch HD+ panel with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, there is MediaTek Helio G35 chipset & this is the same chip which powers not only the Realme C11 but also the Realme C15.

The phone comes with 3GB RAM & 32GB storage.

Realme C12

The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 13 Megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture, a 2 Megapixel B&W sensor & a 2 Megapixel Macro camera. So, there is no ultrawide lens as on the Realme C15. On the front, Realme C12 has a 5 Megapixel camera for selfies.

Finally, Android 10 runs out of the box with Realme UI running on top.

REALME C12 – PRICING & AVAILABILITY

Realme C12 comes in Red & Blue color options & a single storage option with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The price for the Indonesian market is 1,899,000 Indonesian Rupiah which translates to around Rs 9,500 or $129. The phone goes on sale starting on August 16th.
