Realme 9i is coming in January 2022 with Snapdragon 680

It is said to have a design similar to Realme GT Neo 2

In September this year, we got the Realme 8i, a budget offering from the brand powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 SOC. It launched in India as the cheapest phone under the Realme 8 series & offered a 120Hz display, a 50MP camera & a 5,000mAh battery, all for a price of under ₹15K. Well, according to The Pixel, Realme is preparing to launch the successor soon as the Realme 9i is said to launch globally in January next year.

We do not have any renders or images of the phone yet, but according to The Pixel, this phone will have a design similar to Realme GT Neo 2, one of the highest-end offerings from the brand. So, there will be a flat-screen on the front with a hole-punch in the corner & a triple camera setup on the rear. Also, since it is going to be a budget phone, there should not be any surprise when we tell you that the body is made out of plastic.

Now, earlier, there were reports of this phone having a MediaTek SOC just like the Realme 8i, but according to the latest report by The Pixel, Realme 9i has a chip by Qualcomm. It is the Snapdragon 680, which is a 4G SOC based on the 6nm manufacturing process. As the name suggests, this chip is the successor to Snapdragon 675.

We do not know a lot about this phone yet, so there is no legit information about the cameras or the battery size. Stay Tuned.
