Realme 9 4G launching soon with 108MP Samsung HM6 sensor

Last year, the Realme 8 Pro was launched as the company’s first phone with a 108MP camera sensor. It had the 1/1.52″Samsung HM2 sensor, which we have seen on a lot of phones from Xiaomi/Redmi. The Realme 9 Pro & 9 Pro+ are already official, but none of the two phones have a 108MP sensor this time. Instead, both phones offer a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. But now, Realme is preparing to launch a phone under its Realme 9 series with a 108MP sensor. That phone is the Realme 9 4G.

The above image was shared by @Sudhanshu1414 on Twitter, and as we can see, it says that the upcoming Realme 9 series device will feature Samsung’s ISOCELL HM6 camera sensor that outputs 108MP images. Realme mentions a “Prolight” camera, but we do not know what that means. Maybe this means the HM6 sensor captures more light than the HM2 or HM3.

Well, as of now, we do not know the full specifications, and there is no information on the design too. Recently, the name of the phone was spotted on Realme India’s official website, so that might be a hint that the phone is launching soon, most probably at the April 7th launch event where Realme is launching some new devices in India.
