Realme launched two new phones in India today & the Realme 3i is the latest offering from the brand in the budget segment, i.e., the sub-Rs 10,000 price segment. The price starts at Rs 7,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant & goes up to Rs 9,999 for the 4GB variant. The main highlights of the phone include its Diamond Cut design & Gradient color options, the powerful Helio P60 processor, a big 4,230mAh battery & Dual Rear cameras.
REALME 3i – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
Design is perhaps one of the highlights of the Realme 3i. Normally, we don’t see brand focusing much on the design in this particular price segment, but that’s not the case with the 3i. There is a Diamond cut design that we previously saw with the Realme C2. The Gradient Red is probably the best-looking color option among the three.
The design of the 3i is similar to the Realme 3 as there is a same dual-camera placement on the rear, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, a display with waterdrop notch, a micro USB port on the bottom & a headphone jack.
The display size is also the same as that of Realme 3. So, the phone has 6.22-inch HD+ screen with 88.30% screen-to-body ratio & a dewdrop notch. There is a noticeable bottom chin as well.
The processor powering the Realme 3i is the octa-core nm MediaTek Helio P60 that has 4x Cortex-A73 cores & 4x Cortex-A53 cores, clocked at 2.0GHz. The processor comes Mali-G72 MP3 GPU with a frequency up to 800MHz. There is a 3-core ISP & Multi-core APU. As we already know, the Helio P60 is a very powerful processor & easily beats the Snapdragon 636 in terms of the performance.
It is comparable to the Snapdragon 660 in terms of the performance. The Realme 3i comes with 3/4GB RAM & 32/64GB storage.
As for the battery, the phone has a big 4,230mAh battery which is more than enough to last a full day on normal usage, thanks to the 12nm processor. And since the P60 is such a powerful chipset, there won’t be any issues while gaming in this device.
Let’s talk about the cameras now. There are dual cameras on the back that include a primary 13MP f/1.8 main camera with f/1.8 aperture lens & 1.12-micron pixel size. The secondary camera is a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture lens. Some rear camera features include Bokeh Mode, PDAF, AI Scene Recognition, Nightscape and more.
On the front, there is a single 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture & 1.12-micron pixel size.
Well, that’s the whole package. The phone is great for the price of Rs 7,999, but the 4GB variant doesn’t seem that good for the price since there are phones like Redmi Note 7 & Max Pro M2 at this price. Anyways, the Realme 3i comes in three colors – Diamond Black, Diamond Red & Diamond Blue. The price is as follows –

- 4GB + 64GB – Rs 9,999
The phone will be available at 12 AM on 23rd July via Flipkart & Realme’s website in the first sale.
