Realme 13 Pro & Realme 13 Pro+ launching on July 30

The design is the main USP!

The Realme 12 Pro & Realme 12 Pro+ were launched in India in January this year, featuring a premium design and telephoto cameras. The company is now all set to launch the successors in the Indian market, the Realme 13 Pro & Realme 13 Pro+. The launch is happening on July 30th, exactly six months after the launch of the Realme 12 Pro series.

Like the Realme 12 Pro series, the design is one of the highlights of the Realme 13 Pro series. The two color options shown in the images above are Monet Gold and Monet Purple, and both feature a glass back. There is also a third color named “Emerald Green,” which reportedly has vegan leather.

Apart from the design, the cameras are the highlights of the two phones. The brand has already revealed that the Realme 13 Pro+ features a 50MP Sony-LYT701 sensor for the primary camera and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor for the periscope telephoto camera. The periscope camera offers a 3x optical zoom. The third camera should be an ultrawide camera with an 8MP sensor.

It is not yet clear from the brand whether the Realme 13 Pro has a telephoto camera, but as per a source, the phone does not have any telephoto camera at all, not even a regular 2X telephoto camera that the Realme 12 Pro featured. As per the source, the Realme 13 Pro has a 50MP primary sensor, paired with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. This, if true, will be a huge downgrade from the Realme 12 Pro which had a 32MP sensor and a 2X telephoto lens for the third rear camera, and that too with OIS!

The source also shared that the chipset is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, a pretty noticeable upgrade over the Realme 12 Pro’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. There is a big 5,200mAh battery and 45W fast charging support. There is a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display.

Realme 13 Pro

As far as the Realme 13 Pro+ is concerned, it has 80W fast charging, an upgrade from the 67W fast charging of the Realme 12 Pro+. But the battery size is the same. The phone is also reported to have the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset as the predecessor, which is not good news.

Anyway, these are all leaks and rumors, so we have to wait for the official announcement.
