Realme 11 Pro & Realme 11 Pro+ were launched in China in May, and a month later, the series is now official in the Indian market. These are the successors of the Realme 10 Pro & Realme 10 Pro+, which were launched in India in December last year.
While the Realme 10 Pro+ had a curved display, the Realme 10 Pro had a flat display. But this year, the 11 Pro & 11 Pro+ have curved displays. But this also means the pricing is higher than last year. While Realme 10 Pro was launched at ₹18,999 last year, the Realme 11 Pro launched at ₹23,999. And while Realme 10 Pro+ was launched at ₹24,999, the Realme 11 Pro+ starts at ₹27,999.
Design-wise, both phones are identical, with minor design changes. 11 Pro comes in two colors – Sunrise Beige and Astral Black. The 11 Pro+ comes in three colors, and two are the same as the 11 Pro. The third color is called Oasis Green and has a vegan leather finish on the rear, the same as the Beige color.
There is a large circular camera module on the rear which has a dual camera setup for the Realme 11 Pro & a triple camera setup for the 11 Pro+.
Both phones have a curved display with a hole punch cutout in the center, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
As for specifications, both phones have a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, 1260Hz instantaneous sampling rate, and a 93.65% screen-to-body ratio. The peak brightness is 950 nits, and the panel supports HDR10+. There is a 61-degree curve and a 2.33mm bottom chin.
Under the hood, both phones have the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, which is the same SOC as the Dimensity 1080 that powered Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ last year. It is a 6nm SOC with an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.6GHz. On the AnTuTu benchmark, the chip scores around 550,000 points, meaning these are not among the best-performing phones in this price segment.
The battery size is the same for both phones – 5,000mAH. But, the charging speed is different – 67W for the 11 Pro & 100W for the 11 Pro+.
Apart from charging speed, another difference between the two phones is in cameras. Realme 11 Pro has a 100MP sensor with OIS support and an f/1.75 lens for the primary camera. The Realme 11 Pro+ has a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor with OIS and an f/1.69 lens for the primary camera. The 11 Pro has a second 2MP macro camera and lacks an ultrawide camera. But, 11 Pro+ has an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
Finally, while the Realme 11 Pro has a 16MP selfie camera, the 11 Pro+ gets a 32MP sensor.
