Recently, the Realme 10 4G was launched in the global market with MediaTek Helio G99 SOC and a 90Hz AMOLED display. Today, the company launched Realme 10 5G in China. As the name suggests, the most significant difference between the two phones is that the latter supports 5G. But this also means the company has done some cost-cutting in the 5G version. Interestingly, the base variant has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. In China, the price starts at ¥1299, which translates to around $182 or ₹15,000.
Design-wise, Realme 10 5G is identical to the Realme 9i 5G. The color options are the same. It seems as if Realme took the body of 9i 5G, made some changes in the specifications, and relaunched the phone in China as the Realme 10 5G. While the Realme 10 4G has a punch hole, the 5G version has a waterdrop notch. The 5G version has an extra camera on the rear, though.
In terms of specs, the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In terms of cameras, the triple camera setup on the rear includes a 50MP primary sensor and two 2MP sensors. So, there is no ultrawide camera. On the front, the phone has an 8MP camera for selfies.
There is a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD with up to 90Hz refresh rate. Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 on top.
The phone is already up for buying in China, and here is the pricing –
- 8GB + 128GB – ¥1299 ($182 / ₹15,000)
- 8GB + 256GB – ¥199 ($225 / ₹18,000)
