Poco X6 & Poco X6 Pro launching on January 11

Rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G & Redmi K70E, respectively

In February last year, the Poco X5 series was launched, featuring the Poco X5 with the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, and the Poco X5 Pro with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. On January 11, the brand is set to launch the successors in the global market, the Poco X6 & the Poco X6 Pro.

As we have seen quite often, these upcoming phones are rebranded versions of the Redmi devices already launched in the Chinese market.

The Poco X6 is a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset powers the phone, there is a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging and a 1.5K OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also gets Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the display. There are three cameras on the back.

The primary camera has a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor and an f/1.65 lens. The second camera is for ultrawide photos and has an 8MP sensor. The third camera has a 2MP sensor with a macro lens. The phone has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The Poco X6 Pro is a rebrand of the Redmi K70E. The SOC is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-ULTRA, and Poco claims an AnTuTu score of over 1.4 million points. The display is a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED with up to 1800 nits of peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. There is LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

In China, the K70E has a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, but leaks claim 67W fast charging for the Poco X6 Pro. The camera setup is pretty average on paper. There is a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro shooter. The phone has stereo speakers, and an under-display fingerprint sensor, but no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Well, speaking of pricing, considering Poco’s aggressive prices in the past, we expect the Poco X6 to launch in India under ₹20,000 and the Poco X6 Pro under ₹30,000.
