The Poco X6 & Poco X6 Pro were launched in India in January with impressive specifications for the price. The Poco X6 features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SOC, a 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, a Gorilla Glass Victus, a 64MP camera with OIS, and more for a starting price of ₹21,999. The Poco X6 Pro has a Dimensity 8300 Ultra at ₹26,999, making it one of the most powerful phones under ₹30,000.
The brand is now preparing to launch the Poco X6 Neo in India, a budget 5G phone. The phone is set to launch in India on March 13.
Going by the leaks and rumors, the Poco X6 Neo is a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13R Pro. The Note 13R Pro was launched in China in November last year. The phone is expected to launch in India under ₹16,000.
If it is a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, then the Poco X6 Neo features a 6.67-inch 10-bit 120Hz AMOLED display with minimal bezels, a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 5G chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and a 108MP primary camera on the rear. The second rear camera is a useless 2MP sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP sensor.
Other features include Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, an IP54 rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster.
It would be interesting to see the Android version that this phone launches with because in China, the Redmi Note 13R Pro was launched with Android 13.
