Poco X3 Pro with Snapdragon 860 launched in India

Price starts at just Rs 18,999!

Just a week ago, Poco X3 Pro launched in the European market with specifications such as Snapdragon 860 SOC, a 120Hz LCD, UFS 3.1 storage, and more for an Early Bird starting price of just EUR 199. Well, today, the phone was launched in the Indian market for a starting price of just Rs 18,999, which now makes it the most powerful phone you can get under Rs 20,000, thanks to the combination of Snapdragon 860 + UFS 3.1 storage.

Poco X3 Pro

Design-wise, there is no change when compared to the last year’s Poco X3. In fact, the X3 Pro is just Poco X3 but with a different chip, faster storage, and downgraded cameras. There is a 6.67-inch display on the front, and it is an LCD panel. The refresh rate is 120Hz, and the panel gets Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The display has a tiny hole-punch cutout in the middle where the 20 Megapixel selfie camera is placed.

Under the hood, Poco X3 Pro houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SOC, and in short, this is just a slightly updated version of the Snapdragon 855+ of 2019. There is no change in the clock speeds of the CPU, and the GPU remains the same as well. This chip is paired with super-fast UFS 3.1 storage, something we have seen only in the flagships so far. The RAM is LPDDR4X, but that is expected in this price segment. For better cooling, there is also LiquidCool Technology Plus.

Poco has done some cost-cutting when it comes to the cameras because while the last year’s Poco X3 had a 64 Megapixel IMX682 sensor, the Poco X3 Pro has a 48 Megapixel IMX582 sensor. Also, while the last year’s model had a 13 Megapixel ultrawide camera, the X3 Pro has an 8 Megapixel ultrawide unit. Finally, there are two 2 Megapixel cameras.

MIUI 12 runs out of the box, which is based on Android 11.

Poco X3 Pro comes in three colors named Golden Bronze, Graphite Black, and Steel Blue. There are two storage options, and here is the pricing –

  • 6GB + 128GB – Rs 18,999
  • 8GB + 128GB – Rs 20,999

If you use ICICI Bank Credit Cards, then you get up to Rs 1000 instant discount, so the starting price comes down to Rs 17,999 after applying the offer. The first sale is happening on the 6th of April, and you can buy the phone via Flipkart.
