The Poco M6 Pro 5G was launched in India in August with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SOC and a glass back. Now, the brand has launched the Poco M6 5G in India. Poco calls it the most affordable 5G phone, even though it starts at ₹10,499. That’s because, after the discounts, you can get the phone for as low as ₹9,499.
It is also worth mentioning that the Poco M6 5G is a rebrand of the Redmi 13C 5G, launched in India earlier this month.
Design-wise, the phone has a familiar design language. The back has a two-tone design, and the Poco branding is placed on the side of the cameras. There are flat sides, a display with a waterdrop notch, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a type-C port on the bottom.
The specifications are the same as the Redmi 13C 5G. Poco M6 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, has a 5,000mAh battery, and supports 18W fast charging. There is a 50MP primary rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. The phone has a 6.74-inch 720p LCD with up to 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box.
Here’s the pricing for the Indian market –
- 4GB + 128GB – ₹10,499
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹11,499
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹13,499
The phone will go on sale on December 26 on Flipkart.
