This is the Poco M3 Pro 5G & it’s launching on the 19th of May

It is the rebrand of Redmi Note 10 5G!

POCO is preparing to launch a new phone in the global market as the company has started teasing the launch of the Poco M3 Pro 5G. On its Twitter account, Poco has already revealed that the phone is launching on the 19th of May. Now, Ishan Agarwal, a very reliable source, has shared the official render of the phone, which gives us our first look at this budget offering from Poco.

Poco M3 Pro 5G

As the previous reports had hinted, the Poco M3 Pro 5G is not a new phone from the brand but rather a rebrand of an already existing Redmi device. Looking at the design, it seems to be a rebrand of Redmi Note 10 5G which is already official in the global market. The only difference is that Poco has added its design flair on the rear where there is a dual-tone look, something we have seen on the previous Poco devices such as the M3.  The above image shows the phone in three colors – Black, Yellow, and Blue.

If this is indeed a rebrand of Redmi Note 10 5G, then we are looking at a phone with a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD with FHD+ resolution, MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SOC, a 5,000mAh battery, 18W fast charging, 48 Megapixel camera on the rear, an 8 Megapixel selfie shooter, side-facing fingerprint reader, NFC & MIUI 12 based on Android 11.

Well, Poco launching a rebranded Redmi phone is not new, but as we have seen in the past, Poco does keep the pricing lower than the Redmi counterpart, so let’s see at what price the Poco M3 Pro 5G will launch on the 19th of May.
