2020 was a great year for POCO as the company not only returned to the smartphone market after more than a year but launched a lot of devices in every price segment. We got the Poco C3 as the most affordable phone by the brand and also the Poco F2 Pro as the flagship killer. On Twitter, Poco shared a video showing all the achievements by the brand in 2020, and in that video, we can notice the word “F2” being flashed in yhe final seconds.
This definitely hints at Poco F2 being the first phone from the brand that is launching in 2021. It is worth mentioning that the predecessor i.e., the Poco F1, was a phone that disrupted that smartphone market by offering high-end specs at an affordable price. Now, while Poco hasn’t shared what are the specs of the phone or how it looks like, the alleged specs of the phone are here which were first shared on Telegram.
As per these leaked specs, the Poco F2 has a 120Hz AMOLED panel, not LCD and there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G which we have seen powering the Poco X3. The model number of the phone is “K9A” and it is codenamed “courbet”. There are Quad cameras on the rear that include a primary, an ultra-wide, a macro, and a depth sensor. There is a 4,250mAh battery and the phone supports Reverse Charging as well. For the global market, there is NFC support.
If these leaked specs are correct, then we wonder what the price of Poco F2 is going to be since there is already the Poco X3 in the market with the same processor and Quad cameras.
