Poco F1 is undoubtedly the best budget flagship smartphone that you can get right now. It has a powerful Snapdragon 845 processor, a big 4,000mAh battery, a good set of cameras and more. All this costs just $300, and this makes it a pretty unique phone.
F1 has a good camera setup on the rear, but if you want to step up the photography game, you can always go for the Google Camera Mod. But until now, for some reasons, you didn’t have any Gcam Mod for the F1 with which you could shoot Portrait and HDR+ photos. Thanks to the developer B-S-G, the Google Camera Mod with Portrait Mode and HDR+ support is now available for the Pocophone F1, and you can try it out right now.

The developer made a port for the Xiaomi Mi 8, but due to a lot of similarities in the hardware of both the Mi 8 and the Poco F1, the Google Camera Mod can be used on F1 as well. Also, this new Mod means the F1 and Mi 8 are one of the few Snapdragon 845-powered phones that have support for Gcam Mod with Portrait Mode.
Since it is a mod for the Mi 8, some features like the Slow Motion, Smart Burst and ZSL (Zero Shutter Lag) won’t work on the Poco F1. But, features like HDR+ and Portrait Mode are working perfectly as per the users. The Google Camera mod needs the Camera2Api to be enabled to work properly, and thankfully, the Pocophone F1 has that enabled by default. So, you don’t need to root the phone to enable it.
