It is named the Poco C55, and while the specifications remain the same, Poco has added its design flair to this phone for the Indian market.

Design-wise, Poco C55 has a leather-like stitch design, which makes it look unique and helps reduce fingerprints and smudges, There are two cameras on the rear, and the fingerprint scanner is also present on the back. There is IP52 rating for protection against minor splashes of water.

The MediaTek Helio G85 SOC powers the phone, which the company claims is the most powerful chip under 10K in the Indian market. On the AnTuTu benchmark, the phone scores around 260K points. This chipset has a GPU clocked at up to 1GHz.

There is a 6.71-inch display with 720p resolution & 120Hz touch-sampling rate. The battery size is 5,000mAh,  and there is 10W charging support. The 50MP primary camera on the rear is paired with a 2MP secondary camera. The selfie camera has a 5MP sensor.

Perhaps the worst thing about this phone is the charging port. It is 2023, and the Poco C55 still has a micro-USB port. Another thing to note is that this phone runs on Android 12 out of the box.

Poco C55 comes in two storage options, and here is the pricing –

  • 4GB + 64GB – ₹9,499
  • 6GB + 128GB – ₹10,999

The first sale takes place on February 28, and during that sale, Poco is offering a discount of ₹500 on both variants.
