Poco C3 could be the rebranded Redmi 9C, certification reveals

Here we go again. Poco might have launched three phones this year, but all of them are rebranded Redmi devices. For Example, Poco X2 is the rebranded Redmi K30, Poco F2 Pro is the rebranded Redmi K30 Pro, and the Poco M2 Pro is the rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro. Now, it looks like we are getting yet another rebranded device named Poco C3.

The device was first certified by BIS & TÜV, but that didn’t reveal the name of it. All it revealed was the model number (M2006C3MI), which is similar to the model number of the Redmi 9C (M2006C3MG).

Later, Bluetooth certification revealed that this device from Poco would launch as the Poco C3. As we have seen lately, Poco is pretty bad in naming its devices, so the name of this upcoming phone doesn’t surprise us at all.

Anyways, considering that it is indeed the Redmi 9C, the Poco C3 features a 6.53-inch HD+ display & MediaTek Helio G35 SOC. There is a triple camera setup on the back that includes a primary 13 Megapixel camera paired with a 2 Megapixel macro & a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. The phone has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. Finally, there is a 5,000mAh battery, 2/3/4GB RAM & 32/64GB storage.

Well, looking at these specs, it looks like the Poco C3 is going to compete with the recently launched Realme C11 in the Indian market because that phone has the same Helio G35 chipset. So, let’s see at what price Poco launches this phone in India.
