UPDATE 29/11/2019 – BATTERY SIZE REVEALED

Brian Shen has now revealed on Twitter that the Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G has a 4,025mAh battery so that’s impressive considering the fact that the phone is just 7.7mm thick.

Oppo Reno3 is coming next month as the first Oppo device with ColorOS 7 & it has dual-mode 5G as well. Now, like the previous two generations of the Reno series, there isn’t just one phone under the Reno3 series. We now know that there are at least two phones – Reno3 & Reno3 Pro. Today, Brian Shen, Oppo VP, gave us the first look at Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G & revealed some details related to the design of the device.

While we didn’t get to see a lot through the image, we can see that there is a bezel-less design with the display having curved sides. Now the thing is, it cannot be said if there is a Full-Screen design or there is a hole-punch panel with a cutout on the top left. One more noticeable thing is the power button on the right which has a custom paint job.

According to Brian Shen, the Oppo Reno3 5G Pro features a glass body & the device is just 7.7mm thick (without considering the camera module) which might eventually make it the thinnest phone with dual-mode 5G in its segment when it launches next month.

While the specifications are not confirmed, there are already rumours all over the internet. In fact, we have already talked about some rumoured specifications & the pricing of the Oppo Reno3 in one of our previous posts. The rumours suggest unannounced Snapdragon 735 SOC (the first 5G SOC under Snapdragon 7-Series), a 6.5-inch AMOLED 90Hz display, Quad rear camera with a primary 60MP IMX686 sensor, 32MP selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery etc.
