Oppo Reno Ace 2 press render surfaces online, design confirmed

While the exact launch date is still a mystery, the launch of Oppo Reno Ace 2 might be just around the corner since the phone recently showed up on TENAA and the listing revealed not only the design but also the specifications of it.  Now, the press render of the device was shared by a very reliable source on Weibo which once again confirms the design that we saw in the TENAA listing.

Oppo Reno Ace 2 Press Render

As we can see, the Oppo Reno Ace 2 has a circular camera setup on the back that has Quad cameras in it. We can also see the ’48MP’ and ‘Ultra Steady’ text which might be a hint of Optical Image Stabilization.

On the front, there is a punch-hole display, and while the render shows a tiny punch hole, we know via the TENAA listing that the size of the punch-hole isn’t that small. In fact, the source that shared this press render said that the punch-hole is around 4mm in size.

There is a huge earpiece grill on top, so maybe the phone has a front-firing speaker underneath this grill. Talking about the specifications that we know already, the Oppo Reno Ace 2 has –

  • 6.5-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED 90Hz Display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SOC
  • 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM + 128/256GB storage
  • 4,000mAh battery + 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge
  • 40W Fast Wireless Charging support
  • 48 Megapixel + 8 Megapixel + 2 Megapixel + 2 Megapixel Quad Rear Cameras
  • 16 Megapixel Selfie camera

These specifications suggest that the phone is going to compete with the Redmi K30 Pro in China. The pricing & launch date are not yet known, so stay tuned.
