Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z & Reno 2F pricing & specs leaked

On August 28, Oppo Reno 2 series is launching in India & unlike the first-gen Reno, the launch will first happen in the Indian market. Now recently, the camera specifications of the Reno 2 leaked but now, we got a lot of details regarding the whole series that includes Reno 2Z and Reno 2F as well along with the Reno 2.

The exclusive information about the specifications & the pricing of these three phones was shared by MySmartPrice.

OPPO RENO 2 – PRICE & SPECIFICATIONS 

 

Starting with the Reno 2, it is coming with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SOC & it is most likely going to be the first phone to launch in India with this SOC. It has a 6.55-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ panel with 20:9 aspect ratio & 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, there is an in-screen fingerprint reader. There is Gorilla Glass 6 on the front & Gorilla Glass 5 on the rear.

There is at least one variant i.e., 8GB + 256GB.

Coming to the cameras, there is a Quad camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 48 Megapixel Sony IMX 586 sensor, an 8MP Wide-Angle camera with 116-degree FOV, a 13MP Telephoto Camera with 5X Hybrid Zoom & a 2MP depth sensor. Some camera features are Portrait Mode 2.0, 3D Audio Zoom. Portrait Videos, Hybrid Image Stabilization, Ultra Dark Mode etc.

We already know that Reno 2 has a sharkfin mechanism for the selfie camera & it is a 16MP shooter. Finally, the Oppo Reno 2 has a 4,000mAh battery & it supports VOOC Charge 3.0.

As for the price, it is coming under Rs 35,000 in India, so it is a premium mid-ranger from the brand.

OPPO RENO 2Z – PRICE & SPECIFICATIONS 

First Gen Oppo Reno

The Oppo Reno 2Z is a toned-down version of the Reno 2 & it has a 6.53-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ panel with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. There is Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio P90 chipset powers it & it could be the first to launch in India with this SOC. There is 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.

On the rear, the Reno 2Z has Quad Cameras that include a primary 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera with 116-degree FOV & two 2MP cameras for portrait effect in photos and videos. So, it doesn’t have a Telephoto camera like the Reno 2. On the front, it has a 16MP camera & there is most likely a normal pop-up mechanism.

It has the same 4,000mAh battery & supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Android 9 Pie runs out of the box with ColorOS 6.0.1 on top.

As far as price is concerned, it is coming at a price under Rs 25,000 in India.

OPPO RENO 2F – PRICE & SPECIFICATIONS 

Not much is known about the cheapest smartphone in the Oppo Reno 2 series, the Reno 2F. What we do know is that it is coming under Rs 20,000 in India & has a Quad Camera setup with a  48MP primary rear camera with Samsung GM1 sensor.
