Oppo K13 Turbo & K13 Turbo Pro launched in China

With Dimensity 8450 & Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets!

The Oppo K13 was launched in the Indian market in April with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a massive 7,000mAh battery, 80W fast charging, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, stereo speakers, an IP65 rating, and a 50MP rear camera. Today, the brand launched two performance-centric phones in China – Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro. These are the first ‘Turbo’ branded phones from the company.

Starting with the Oppo K13 Turbo, the phone comes in three colors – Black, White, and Purple. There is a cooling fan on the rear placed in the camera module. This cooling fan has blades as thin as 0.1mm, and a rotational speed of up to 18,000 rpm. For an even better thermal performance, there is a large 7000mm² vapor chamber.

Under the hood, the Oppo K13 Turbo has the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, built on TSMC’s 4nm process. This chipset features an all-big core CPU architecture. There is a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The phone supports bypass charging. There is LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 3.1 storage.

The display is a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ 10-bit AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The display has the Crystal Shield glass protection.

Speaking of cameras, the Oppo K13 Turbo has a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor, and the secondary camera has a 2MP sensor. There is a 16MP sensor for the selfie camera. The primary rear camera can shoot 4K videos at up to 60fps.

There is a stereo speaker setup, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and NFC. The phone is IP68 and IP69-certified.

The phone runs on ColorOS 15 out of the box.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro

The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro resembles the vanilla model, with the only design change being the slightly different camera module. The main difference is under the hood. While the K13 Turbo has a MediaTek chip, the K13 Turbo Pro has a Snapdragon SOC. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, and the brand claims an AnTuTu score of over 2.4 Million points. There is LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage.

The rest of the specifications are the same. There is the same cooling fan, a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, the same cooling system, the same 6.8-inch 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED, the same cameras, and the same software.
