The OnePlus Nord CE 4 was launched last month in India with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The same phone was launched in China as the Oppo K12. Today, the Oppo K12x was launched in the Chinese market, and it is expected to be launched outside China as the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. If true, it would be the successor to the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, launched last year with a Snapdragon 695 SOC.

Oppo K12x

The Oppo K12x comes with a similar camera module design as the Oppo K12, with the exception being the lack of a ring LED flash. Hence, instead of three circles, the camera module on the K12x has only two. The phone has a flat display on the front with a hole punch cutout in the center and a flat frame. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom, and the phone has stereo speakers.

Under the hood, the Oppo K12x has the Snapdragon 695 chipset, the same SOC that powered the Oppo K11x / OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. There is LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2 storage. The battery is 5,500mAh, and there is 80W fast charging support.

The display is a 6.67-inch OLED with a Full-HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2100 nits. The fingerprint scanner sits under the display. For comparison, the Oppo K11x / OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite had an LCD and, hence, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Speaking of cameras, the K12x has a 1/1.276″ 50MP sensor for the primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, paired with a 2MP sensor for the secondary camera. The selfie shooter has a 16MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens. There is no 4K video recording support.

Finally, the phone runs on ColorOS 14.0, based on Android 14.

Oppo K12x comes in two colors, and here is the pricing –

  • 8GB + 256GB – ¥1299 (~$180)
  • 12GB + 256GB – ¥1499 (~$207)
  • 12GB + 512GB – ¥1799 (~$250)
