In our previous article, we discussed the Oppo K10 5G, a mid-range 5G phone from the brand that launched today alongside the K10 Pro. In this article, let us talk about the Oppo K10 Pro, a high-end phone from the brand with specs including the Snapdragon 888 SOC, 80W fast charging, a 120Hz AMOLED, and more. The price starts at ¥2499, which is roughly around $384. It is pretty rare to see Oppo launching a phone with aggressive pricing because that’s something the company’s sub-brands like Realme and OnePlus are known for.

Design-wise, the Oppo K10 Pro looks identical to the K10 5G, except for the fact that it has an in-display fingerprint scanner, not a side-mounted one. Even the color options are the same. Also, since this is a high-end phone, there is probably a glass back with a matte finish. The phone also lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, something that the vanilla model has. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a VC Liquid Cooling system. X-axis linear motor and all sorts of gaming-centric software features.

Oppo K10 Pro

On the front, Oppo K10 Pro has a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED with a Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The peak brightness of this panel is 1300 nits. Under the hood, there is the flagship Snapdragon 888 SOC that is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and there is support for 80W fast charging.

Oppo K10 Pro

As for the cameras, Oppo K10 Pro gets a triple camera setup on the rear, where the primary camera has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.8 lens and OIS. The secondary camera has an 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and the same camera is used for macro shots too. Finally, there is a third 2MP sensor. The front-facing camera has a 16MP sensor. So, this is more or less the same camera setup as the Oppo K10 5G, with the only change being the primary camera sensor and the addition of OIS. Thanks to the SOC, there is support for 4K 60fps video recording.

Oppo K10 Pro comes in two colors and three storage options. Here is the price for China –

  • 8GB + 128GB – ¥2499 (~$384 | ~₹29,500)
  • 8GB + 256GB – ¥2799 (~$430 | ~₹33,000)
  • 12GB + 256GB – ¥3199 (~$492 | ~₹37,500)

It will go on sale in China on the 28th of April.
