A few days back, we got to know the key specifications of the Oppo Find X9 Pro, the company’s upcoming camera-centric premium flagship phone. The specifications revealed some big upgrades in the camera department, performance, and battery. Now, the specifications of the Oppo Find X9 have leaked online, shared by XpertPick. Like the Pro model, the vanilla model is getting some big upgrades over last year’s Oppo Find X8.
Starting with the display, the Oppo Find X9 has a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner. It is worth mentioning that the Oppo Find X8 featured an optical under-display fingerprint scanner. The performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, which also powers the Pro model. The Oppo Find X8 had a pretty respectable 5,630mAh battery, but the Find X9 is taking it to the next level with a massive 7,025mAh battery. There is 80W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging support.
Speaking of the camera setup, the Oppo Find X9 has three rear cameras. The primary camera has a 1/1.43” 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor with OIS support. This is a nice upgrade over the 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor on the Find X8. The Sony LYT-808 is not only larger than the LYT-700, but it also has a larger pixel size of 1.12μm (versus 1.0μm). The ultrawide camera is using the same 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor as last year’s Find X8. Finally, there is a periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.57″ 50MP Samsung JN9 sensor, 3x optical zoom, and OIS support. For comparison, the Oppo Find X8 featured a periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.95″ 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor. There is Hasselblad color tuning and Oppo’s Lumo Imaging.
The phone runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and has IP68 + IP69 certification. The Oppo Find X9 also features a ‘Plus key’, which is a replacement for the alert slider, which the Oppo Find X8 had.
