The Oppo Find X8s series is now official in the Chinese market, featuring two smartphones – Oppo Find X8s and the Find X8s+. The phones feature some notable improvements over the Oppo Find X8 series launched last year. The company has not yet announced any global launch event for these devices.
OPPO FIND X8s
Starting with the Find X8s, this is a compact flagship from the brand. The design is one of the highlights of this device. There is a flat display on the front with extremely slim bezels. The brand claims the bezels are 1.25mm on all four sides, and this makes it one of the smartphones with the thinnest bezels in the industry. The phone has a metal frame, and there is a glass back with a matte finish. The phone is around 7.73mm thick and weighs 179g. The Oppo Find X8s is IP68 and IP69-certified.
There is an extra iPhone-like “Action Button” on the side.
In terms of the specifications, there is the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset under the hood, which, compared to the Dimensity 9400, features a CPU clocked at up to 3.73GHz (up from 3.62GHz). Despite being compact, lightweight, and slim, the phone packs a big 5,700mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
The display is quite compact at 6.32-inch, and it is a 1.5K LTPO OLED panel with Dolby Vision, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and 1600 nits global peak brightness.
There are three rear cameras. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with OIS, the ultrawide has a 50MP sensor, and the periscope telephoto with an 85mm lens and a 50MP sensor with OIS. The selfie shooter has a 32MP sensor. The phone can shoot 4K 60fps Dolby Vision videos.
Finally, ColorOS 15 runs out of the box.

OPPO FIND X8s+
The Oppo Find X8s+ is pretty similar to the Find X8s, except for the size and some specifications. The phone has a bigger 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED panel but with slightly thicker 1.45mm bezels, a bigger 6,000mAh battery, and a 73mm lens for the periscope telephoto camera. Apart from these, everything is the same in terms of the spec sheet. The cameras on the rear are arranged differently on the Find X8s+, so that would make it easier to differentiate the two.
