Last time we talked about the live hands-on images of the Find X5 Pro, which revealed things like the Hasselblad partnership, MariSiliconX Imaging NPU, etc. Today, a massive leak revealed everything about Oppo’s premium flagship for this year.
The full spec sheet and the official renders of the phone were shared by WinFuture today.
So, the official images reveal two color options for the device, and they are named ‘Ceramic Black’ and ‘Ceramic White.’ Interestingly, even though the names say so, the back is glass, not ceramic. The phone is quite heavy at 219 grams. There is a raised camera module on the back with a design almost similar to the Find X3 Pro of last year except for that bottom side which may look unsymmetrical. Still, if you take a closer look, each camera lens and also the LED flash is at the same distance from the nearest corner of the camera module. So, this shows that this change in design by Oppo was done to make it look more symmetrical instead of the other way around.
On the front, Oppo Find X5 Pro has a dual-curved display with a hole punch on the top left corner. There is Gorilla Glass Victus on the front.
The main USP of Find X5 Pro is the camera setup on the back so let us talk about that first. It has three cameras, and two of them have the 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. The camera has been co-developed with Hasselblad, just as in the case of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The primary camera has the 50MP Sony IMX766 with an f/1.7 aperture lens, whereas the ultrawide camera has the 50MP IMX766 with an f/2.2 aperture lens. Both the cameras offer 10-bit color depth. And finally, the phone has a telephoto lens with a 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 sensor and an f/1.24 aperture lens.
Another thing to talk about is Oppo’s MariSilicon X Imaging NPU, which should improve the camera processing. In terms of video recording, 4K 60fps is supported.
For selfies, there is a 32MP camera.
The display on the front is a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED with a Quad-HD+ resolution (3216 x 1440 pixels) and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is a 10-bit panel too.
Under the hood, Find X5 Pro has Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery, support for 80W fast wired charging, and fast wireless charging. There is an IP68 rating as well. Android 12 runs out of the box with ColorOS 12.1 on top.
It is expected that Oppo Find X5 Pro is launching at the MWC Barcelona, which starts on the 28th of February.
