Oppo Find X2 Series launching on June 17 in India

Three months after the launch of Oppo Find X2 Series, the company is now all set to launch it in the Indian market. The Find X2 Series is launching on June 17th in India, which means a couple of weeks are still left for the launch. Now, it is unclear whether Oppo is planning to launch the Find X2 Lite as well alongside the Find X2 & Find X2 Pro.

The Find X2 from Oppo is the successor of 2018’s Oppo Find X which took the smartphone world by storm with its gorgeous design & the innovative pop-up camera mechanism. There isn’t much difference between the Find X2 & Find X2 Pro in terms of the looks & the only difference is that the latter gets IP68 certifications, a better camera setup, & a bigger battery.

Both phones have a gorgeous 6.7-inch OLED display with Quad-HD+ resolution & 120Hz refresh rate. The touch sampling rate is 240Hz & the display is protected with Gorilla Glass 6.  There is Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SOC & 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. Now, while the Oppo Find X2 comes with 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, the Find X2 Pro has 512GB storage.

Camera-wise, the two phones are significantly different from one another. The Oppo Find X2 comes with a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with OIS, a secondary 12 Megapixel ultrawide camera with Sony IMX708 sensor, & a 13 Megapixel telephoto lens with 5X Hybrid Zoom.

The Find X2 Pro comes with the triple camera as well, but the specs are different. There is a primary 48 Megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor (1/1.4″ sensor) with OIS, f/1.7 aperture lens & 1.12-micron individual pixel size. This is paired with a 48 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera featuring Sony IMX586 sensor. Finally, there is a 13 Megapixel periscope camera with 5X Optical Zoom, & up to 60X Digital Zoom.

Both phones have a 32 Megapixel selfie camera.

The Oppo Find X2 Series features 65W Fast Wired Charging but the battery size is different for both phones. The Find X2 comes with a 4,200mAh battery whereas the Find X2 Pro has a 4,260mAh battery. As mentioned above, the Find X2 Pro also has IP68 rating compared to the IP54 certification of Find X2.

Well, the pricing is not yet known for the Indian market, but in Europe, the Oppo Find X2 launched at a price of €999 which translates to Rs 85,000 whereas the Find X2 Pro launched at €1,199 which translates to over Rs 1 Lakh. Obviously Oppo Find X2 Series won’t launch at these prices because as we know, the European pricing is higher than pricing in markets like India.
