In 2018, Oppo launched a phone that impressed everyone with its futuristic design that included a pop-up camera mechanism, which was new on smartphones at that time. It was the Oppo Find X. In fact, Oppo and Vivo were the first brands to launch phones with pop-up cameras. While we didn’t get the Oppo Find X2 in 2019, we are getting it this year.
In fact, it is launching this month as Oppo has planned the launch event on February 22nd for the Find X2.

While we are yet to see how the phone looks like, the specifications of the phone have leaked already. We cannot say if these are 100% accurate, but if they’re, the Find X2 would be one of the best phones to launch in the first quarter. The leaked specs include a Quad-HD+ curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch-sampling rate, and a MEMC Chip, & Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 + Oppo M1 Co-Processor.
There is a triple camera setup on the back that includes a custom 48 Megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor that is a 1/1.3″ sensor having Omni Directional Autofocus, a secondary ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX708 sensor & a third 13 Megapixel telephoto lens with 5X Hybrid Zoom. The camera on the front is a 32 Megapixel Sony IMX616 sensor.
Well, there is still a couple of weeks left for the official launch, so we will surely get more details related to the Oppo Find X2. Stay Tuned.
