Oppo Find N2 Flip was launched in December as the company’s first foldable flip phone. The phone had a unique design with a vertical cover display instead of a horizontal one and one of the largest cover displays on a foldable flip phone. Today, the company launched the successor in China – Oppo Find N3 Flip.
The phone has a slightly changed design as there is now a circular camera module with three camera sensors instead of two.
An interesting feature of the Find N3 Flip is the alert slider, making it the first Oppo phone to feature an alert slider. The fingerprint scanner is on the side and doubles as a power button. Oppo hasn’t talked about the hinge that much on the official website, which could mean the hinge mechanism hasn’t got any significant upgrades.
Under the hood, the phone has the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, a notable upgrade over the N2 Flip’s Dimensity 9000+. There is 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The battery is 4,300mAh, and there is 44W fast charging support, the same as last year.
Oppo Find N3 Flip gets a triple camera setup on the outside. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with OIS, the ultrawide camera has a 48MP sensor, and the 2X telephoto camera has a 32MP sensor. The selfie camera on the inside has a 32MP sensor. The front and the rear cameras can shoot up to 4K 30fps videos.
The display sizes are also the same. The cover display has a 3.26-inch 720 × 382 pixels AMOLED panel with up to 60Hz refresh rate. The foldable display has a 6.8-inch 10-bit LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 2520 × 1080 pixels resolution, and 1600 nits peak brightness.
The phone runs on Android 13-based Color OS 13.2.
Oppo Find N3 Flip comes in three colors, and here is the pricing for the Chinese market –
- 12GB + 256GB – ¥6799 (~$933)
- 12GB + 512GB – ¥7599 (~$1043)
Oppo is reportedly launching the phone globally soon.
