Oppo A31 launched in India with Helio P35 SOC & triple cameras

Oppo A31 is the latest budget offering from the brand which is now official in the Indian market & you can buy it via Amazon. As the name shows, it is an ‘A’ series phone from Oppo, hence a budget device. Some of the highlights of it include triple rear camera setup, MediaTek Helio P35 SOC, and a 4,230mAh battery inside.

The phone is priced at Rs 11,490 for the 4GB + 64GB variant in the Indian market.

Since it is a budget phone, there is not anything fancy about the design. The A31 features a display with a waterdrop notch on top & a noticeable bottom bezel. On the rear, there is a triple camera setup placed vertically along with the fingerprint scanner. There is a micro-USB port on the bottom.

Talking about the specifications, the Oppo A31 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio & Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen-to-body ratio is around 89%. The SOC powering the A31 is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 that has an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

There is 4/6GB RAM with 64/128GB storage & the phone has a triple card slot so you can add two SIM cards as well as a microSD card at the same time.

Coming to the cameras, there is a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 12 Megapixel f/1.8 unit, a secondary 2 Megapixel depth sensor, & a third 2 Megapixel macro lens. There is a single 8 Megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Finally, Android 9 Pie runs out of the box with ColorOS 6.1.2 on top & there is a 4,230mAh battery with normal 5V/2A charging.

The colour options include Mystery Black & Fantasy White. As far as the price is concerned, the 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 11,490 in India. We don’t know the exact price of the 6GB variant, but it would be around Rs 13,000-13,500.

While the 4GB + 64GB variant will be available starting February 29th, you’ll have to wait till 15th March to get your hands on the 6GB + 128GB variant.
