Chinese brands like Oppo, Vivo, Huawei etc. are constantly working on new technologies & we have seen a lot of examples of it. At an event in China today, Oppo showcased its all-new SuperVOOC charging called the “65W SuperVOOC Fast Charge 2.0”. It is an upgrade over the older SuperVOOC charging as now, it charges at 65W. Along with this, Oppo also unveiled 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge & VOOC Flash Charge 4.0.
With the 65W SuperVOOC charging, a 4,000mAh battery can be charged completely in just 30 minutes which is amazing. On October 10, the Oppo Reno Ace will launch with this charging technology, so yes, it is not something like Xiaomi’s 100W Charging or Vivo’s 120W charging that we are not going to see on any phone anytime soon.
In just five minutes, a 4,000mAh battery will be charged to around 27%, so that shows how fast this charging technology is.
The 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge is one of the fastest Wireless Charging technologies currently in the market & a 4,000mAh battery can be fully charged in around 80 minutes only. Oppo says that 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge uses real-time adjustment of the charging process and efficient charging components to ensure a more efficient and safer charging while avoiding overheating.
Finally, Oppo introduced the VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 which charges at 30W. In half an hour, a 4,000mAh battery can be charged up to 67% & 100% in 73 minutes. So, this charging technology is 12% faster than the previous generation.
The head of Oppo’s Flash Charge, Zhang Jialian, said –
VOOC Flash Charge technology has reshaped the way people view charging and allowed OPPO to bring the ultimate charging experience to more than 145 million users worldwide to date. In the future, OPPO will continue upgrading VOOC, SuperVOOC and Wireless VOOC to meet user needs in various scenarios.
