Do you remember the OnePlus Nord N200? The phone launched in June last year, featuring a Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, a 90Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery. It was a North American exclusive phone that launched at $239, and today, the brand launched its successor in the US. It is named the OnePlus Nord N300 and starts at $228, meaning it is cheaper than its predecessor. For the price, you are getting a MediaTek SOC with 5G support, a 90Hz display, and a big 5,000mAh battery.
This isn’t some new phone by OnePlus because this is a rebrand of the Oppo K10 5G / Oppo A77. So apart from the branding, there isn’t anything different.
OnePlus Nord N300 5G has a polycarbonate build, and the sides are flat. The fingerprint sensor is on the side, and there is a display with a waterdrop notch. For comparison, the Nord N200 had a hole punch cutout. The camera count is also less this year, with only two sensors on the rear instead of three.
The display on the front is a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with up to 90Hz refresh rate and a 720p resolution. There is a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chip under the hood that is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging. So, while the battery size remains the same as last year, the charging speed is almost double.
Regarding cameras, the OnePlus Nord N300 has a 48MP primary sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP sensor. Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box.
The phone will be available in the US for $228 from November 3 at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile.
