Here’s how the OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite looks like

We've got the render of the phone

We first got to know about the OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite two months ago when the spec sheet of the phone surfaced online. As per a tweet by @heyitsyogesh, the NORD CE 2 Lite is set to launch this month, and today, the same source shared the render of the device that gives us a look at the front and rear design.

OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite

Design-wise, the NORD CE 2 Lite looks quite similar to the Realme 9 Pro. This is because the phone has a similar-looking camera module design and also the same hole-punch cutout placement on the front. The fingerprint scanner is also present at the same location, i.e., on the side. There is no alert slider, but that is no longer surprising since even the OnePlus 10R is rumored to not launch with an alert slider.

As we know already, the OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G SOC and has a 5,000mAH battery with 33W fast charging. There is a 64MP primary sensor on the rear and a 16MP selfie camera. There is 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

So far, the specifications are the same as Realme 9 Pro. As for the differences, the primary sensor on the rear is paired with a 2MP monochrome and a 2MP depth sensor. There is no ultrawidee camera. The display is slightly smaller at 6.58-inch (vs. 6.6-inch), but it is the same 120Hz LCD with an FHD+ resolution. And finally, OxygenOS 11 runs out of the box based on Android 11.

Well, it seems like OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite is just a Realme 9 Pro but with no ultrawide camera. We do not know the price yet, but if the phone launches in India, expect the price to be under ₹20,000.
