
The OnePlus NORD CE 2 5G is now official in India and Europe, and as the name suggests, this is the successor to the OnePlus NORD CE 5G of last year. It is a mid-range 5G phone from the brand, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SOC. The price starts at ₹23,999 for India, £299 for the UK, and €349 for the European market.
Design-wise, the NORD CE 2 5G comes with a different camera module design compared to other OnePlus phones launched previously. The camera module includes a triple camera setup and an LED flash. There is a flat-screen with a hole punch on the top left corner. The phone does have a 3.5mm headphone jack but misses out on the alert slider. There is no stereo speaker setup on this phone. The frame, as well as the back, is made of plastic and has a glossy finish.
There is a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ Fluid AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is an HDR10+ certified panel. The battery size is 4,500mAh, and it is a dual-cell battery because the phone supports 65W fast charging. You get a 65W adapter in the box.
There is MediaTek Dimensity 900 SOC under the hood which is a mid-range 5G SOC built on the 6nm process. It is paired with 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that is also expandable via a microSD card slot.
There are three cameras on the back where the main camera has a 64MP sensor with an f/1.79 aperture lens. There is an 8MP ultrawide with a 119-degree FOV and a 2MP macro lens. 4K video recording is supported at up to 30fps. For selfies, you get a 16MP camera (Sony IMX471).
There is an in-display fingerprint scanner, and the phone runs on Android 11 out of the box with OxygenOS on top.

In India, the phone goes on sale on the 22nd of February whereas, in the European market, the sale starts on the 10th of March.
