OnePlus Nord 3 with Dimensity 9000 launching on July 5

It is a rebadged OnePlus Ace 2V (China)

In March, OnePlus Ace 2V was launched in the Chinese market, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. The phone is now launching in the global market under the Nord series. It is named the OnePlus Nord 3 & the launch is set to take place on July 5. As the name suggests, this is the successor to OnePlus Nord 2, launched in July 2021 with the Dimensity 1200 chipset.

OnePlus Nord 3 has two big circular camera modules on the rear, with the one on top having the primary sensor and the bottom having the other two sensors. There are also two LED flash modules. The phone has an alert slider on the right alongside the power button. The volume rockers are placed on the left side. The phone has a flat panel on the front with slim bezels all around. The selfie camera is placed in a hole punch cutout.

The phone lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack but has stereo speakers. As for the build materials, the Nord 2V in China has Gorilla Glass 5 on the back, so we expect the same with the Nord 3.

OnePlus Nord 3

Regarding specifications, there is one significant change in the global model. OnePlus Nord 3 has a primary 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS support, compared to the 64MP sensor (without OIS) on Ace 2V. This is the same camera sensor on the high-end OnePlus 11 and 11R.

And well, the rest of the specifications are the same. So, the OnePlus Nord 3 has a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colors. The peak brightness is 1,450 nits. The chipset is the Dimensity 9000 & the phone has LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 80W wired charging.

Apart from the 50MP primary sensor, the OnePlus Nord 3 has an 8MP ultrawide & a 2MP macro camera. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor. Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box.

According to a source on Twitter, OnePlus Nord 3 will start at ₹32,999 in the Indian market for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
