Here’s our official look at the OnePlus Ace

The phone is launching in India as OnePlus 10R

As we know already, the OnePlus 10R and the OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite are launching in India this month on the 28th. We also know that the OnePlus 10R is a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3, which means it has Dimensity 8100 and 150W charging. But, there were also reports that there is a phone named OnePlus Ace, which is also a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo 3. Well, the OnePlus itself has cleared the confusion now as the brand announced a launch event on the 21st of April in China, where the OnePlus Ace is launching. In short, the OnePlus Ace is for China, whereas the same phone will launch as the OnePlus 10R in India.

Along with the launch date for China, the company even shared the official images of the phone, which gave us our first official look at the design from all angles.

As we can see, the OnePlus Ace/10R comes in two colors, and the cameras are laid out in a triangular fashion, similar to the GT Neo 3. The only difference is that the LED flash is in a different position. Also, the camera module is designed such that it seems to be a part of the frame, something we have seen on the OnePlus 10 Pro. Moreover, the back has a two-tone look, with one half having the lines going from the camera module all the way to the bottom and the other half having a matte finish.

The frame is flat, and as rumored earlier, there is no alert slider on this phone. This is surprising because since it is launching as the OnePlus 10R in India, we expect at least the number series phones to feature an alert slider.

Well, in terms of specs, as we know already, the OnePlus Ace/10R has Dimensity 8100 SOC, 80W/150W fast charging, a 50MP IMX766 sensor with OIS on the rear, and a 120Hz AMOLED.
