OnePlus Ace is now official in China, and this is the latest high-end phone from the brand, which is simply a rebrand of Realme GT Neo 3. Compared to the GT Neo 3, the design is entirely different on the rear, but the specifications are the same. Moreover, this phone is also coming to the Indian market as the OnePlus 10R. Some of the highlights of this phone include the SOC, charging speed, and design.
Design-wise, the OnePlus Ace looks different from any previous OnePlus device. There is a triple camera setup with the cameras placed in a triangular manner, and this camera module has a two-tone design, at least in the case of the Black color variant. This two-tone design is there on the whole back panel, with one half having vertical lines and the other half being clean.
The sides as also flat, so is the display on the front has a hole punch in the center. If you remove the OnePlus logo, there is no way to tell this is a phone by OnePlus. Even the alert slider is not present on this phone, something that we expect to see on OnePlus phones, at least on the high-end ones.
Under the hood, the OnePlus ACE has the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SOC, and ‘MAX’ here means that this version is slightly better than the Dimesity 8100 in terms of performance. There is 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. One of the highlights of this phone is charging. There is a 4,500mAH battery and support for 150W fast charging, the fastest wired charging ever that a OnePlus device supports. Even the OnePlus 10 Pro, the current highest-end premium offering from the brand, has 80W wired charging.
There is a triple camera setup on the rear where the primary camera has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, the secondary camera has an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor for ultrawide shots, and there is a third 2MP macro camera. The primary camera has OIS too. On the front, there is a 16MP camera. 4K video recording is supported, but it is limited to 30fps.
There is a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution.
Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box, and in China, the phone runs on ColorOS 12.1 instead of OxygenOS. Other features include stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint scanner, 5G, etc.
OnePlus Ace comes in two colors and here is the pricing for China –
- 8GB + 128GB – ¥2499 (~$385)
- 8GB + 256GB – ¥2699 (~$415)

It will go on sale in China starting on the 26th of April. As we know, the phone is coming to India as the OnePlus 10R, and the launch date for India is 28th April.
