In February, the OnePlus Ace 2 was launched in China, and the same phone was launched in India as the OnePlus 11R. The phone featured the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC & a 5,000mAh battery. The brand is preparing to launch its successor in the Chinese market, the OnePlus Ace 3.
We got the unofficial renders of the Ace 3 / 12R in July, but now, the company has shared the official images of the phone, revealing the three color options for the Chinese market.
Design-wise, the OnePlus Ace 3 doesn’t differ much from the OnePlus Ace 2. It has a similar-looking circular camera module on the top left corner with a triple camera setup and an LED flash. There is a second LED flash module placed outside the camera module, the same as the OnePlus 12.
The phone comes in at least three colors: Blue, Bronze, and Black. It is reported that not all color options will make it outside the Chinese market.
As per the leaks, the OnePlus Ace 3 / OnePlus 12R has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage (UFS 3.1 for the 128GB variant).
One of the highlights of the device is the massive 5,500mAh battery, which supports 100W fast charging. The camera setup is pretty average on paper. The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera.
There is a 6.78-inch ProXDR display with LTPO 4.0 (1-120Hz refresh rate) and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Finally, regarding launch dates, the OnePlus Ace 3 / OnePlus 12R is launching in China on January 4, and in the global market on January 23.
