We have already seen the CAD renders of both the OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro that show us the design that might be the one that OnePlus has finalized for its next year’s flagships. Furthermore, we also know that the vanilla OnePlus 9 has two 48 Megapixel cameras on the rear. Well, we have heard rumours of not two but three phones under the OnePlus 9 series, and today, Max Jambor confirmed the same. He revealed the name of the third phone & it is the OnePlus 9E.
The name suggests that the 9E is going to be cheaper than the OnePlus 9, but it is still unclear as to how cheaper it exactly is. This is because there is already the OnePlus NORD series now to offer budget & mid-range phones. We also don’t know how the phone looks like or what are the specs of it, so all that we know right now is the name. It seems like OnePlus is going the Samsung route by offering phones at every price range.
In case you missed it, the OnePlus 9 is rumoured to launch with a 120Hz flat AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 875 chipset, triple cameras on the rear among with two are 48MP sensors, 65W Charging & Android 11 based OxygenOS 11. Details of the OnePlus 9 Pro are very less at the moment, but there are rumours of a 144Hz display, 40W Wireless Charging, IP68 rating etc.
