The OnePlus 9 series is expected to go official next month, and if the reports are to be believed, we are getting the OnePlus 9R, 9, and 9 Pro. There have been a ton of leaks already, revealing the design of both the phones as well as the specifications and now, we have got the screenshots from 9 and 9 Pro that confirm major specifications like the cameras, display, storage, processor etc. The screenshots from the OnePlus 9 Pro were shared recently by TechManiacs, which is the same source that shared the “About Phone” screenshot from the OnePlus 9 a week ago.
Speaking of the vanilla OnePlus 9 first, it bears the model number “LE2113”, as we can see in the screenshot above and comes with Android 11 based OxygenOS running out of the box. The phone features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and has a flat-screen. The last year’s OnePlus 8T had the same panel. Unsurprisingly, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SOC, and the screenshots are from the 8GB + 128GB variant.
Coming to the cameras, there are three on the rear, and they include a 50 Megapixel primary shooter paired with a 48 Megapixel ultrawide camera and a third 2 Megapixel sensor that we believe is there for macro shots. Compared to the last year’s 8T of last year, there is one less camera but a newer primary sensor and an upgraded ultrawide unit.
As for the OnePlus 9 Pro, it has the model number “LE2123” and has a large 6.7-inch curved Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. As we know already, this is an LTPO panel, something we have seen on phones like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The resolution is Quad-HD+, just like the OnePlus 8 Pro of last year. The cameras are going to be one of the USPs of this phone because, as we have seen in the hands-on images that leaked earlier, OnePlus has partnered with Hasselblad. The screenshots reveal that the OnePlus 9 Pro has a primary 50 Megapixel camera paired with a 48 Megapixel ultrawide camera, an 8 Megapixel sensor (most probably for zoom shots) and a 2 Megapixel camera.
The screenshots from the camera app also reveal that the phone can shoot 8K videos at 30fps and 4K videos at up to 120fps.
As Max Jambor has already revealed, both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro have a 4,500mAh battery, and yes, OnePlus will provide an adapter in the box.
