From 2016, we are getting “T” branded Oneplus flagship in the last quarter of the year & this year is no exception. Since OnePlus launched two flagships in the first half of this year, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, it makes sense if OnePlus launches two “T” branded phones this year, i.e., OnePlus 7T & 7T Pro.
Today, the CAD renders of the 7T gave us the first look at the design of next OnePlus flagship that is set to launch on September 26 in India alongside OnePlus 7T Pro.
So, the biggest design change is on the rear where we have a circular camera module with three cameras in it. Hence, unlike the OnePlus 7, the 7T is getting a triple camera setup with an ultra-wide-angle camera like OnePlus 7 Pro. This is also the first time OnePlus is going for such a design for the camera setup.
On the front, the OnePlus 7T gets the same flat display with a waterdrop notch like the OnePlus 7. So, there is most likely the same FHD+ AMOLED panel & 60Hz refresh rate as the OnePlus 7. That might be a little disappointing, but the “T” branded phones are usually not a huge upgrade to the non-T branded phones from OnePlus.
The display is around 6.4-6.5 inch, so the size is also going to remain almost the same as OnePlus 7.
Since the Snapdragon 855+ is already here, we can expect OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro to launch with this SOC. Some other upgrades may come in the camera & the battery size, but we have no information about the specifications yet.
