A couple of days back, we got the press render of the OnePlus 5 that surprised everyone. That’s because, the phone has the iPhone 7 Plus like design from the back and except the logo, it seems nothing is different from the rear if we compare the phone with iPhone 7 Plus. Anyways, if there was any doubt regarding that press render, then it’s no more now as the company has itself confirmed the OnePlus 5’s Design along with the fact that it features Dual Cameras on the back.
As seen in the image above, you can see pretty similar design from the back with the antenna lines only visible at the top and bottom edges of the device, rather than extending lengthways across the main body of the phone. It is weird that the Camera Setup, Secondary Mic and LED Flash placements are the same as on the iPhone 7 Plus so it won’t be wrong to say that the phone is a copy of iPhone 7 Plus from the rear. That’s something we have seen with almost every Chinese smartphone but it is new for the company like OnePlus to copy iPhone’s design, and surely, the fans are not going to be happy. As the image reveals, the phone is thin, and we already know that it is thinner than the OnePlus 3T. As per the CEO, it is the thinnest flagship smartphone.
Yesterday, we also came to know that the phone has 8GB of RAM and 2.3GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor. Today, TrueTech has revealed the pricing of the device that seems a bit higher when we consider the device as ‘Flagship’. So, what are your views? Liked the design?
