OnePlus 13 to have a triple 50MP camera setup

The periscope camera will stick with 3x optical zoom!

OnePlus usually launches its flagship phones in December in the Chinese market, and the same is expected to be the case with the OnePlus 13. While there isn’t much that is known by now, a source on Weibo has shared a few camera details about the phone. The source is the very reliable Digital Chat Station, who revealed some key upgrades in the next OnePlus flagship.

OnePlus 13 Camera Details

As per the source, the OnePlus 13 will use a triple camera setup on the back, with all three cameras using a 50MP sensor. For comparison, the OnePlus 12 uses a 50MP + 48MP + 64MP triple camera setup. The OnePlus 12 was the first smartphone from the brand to feature a periscope telephoto camera, and it will continue with the 13.

As for the optical zoom, OnePlus is sticking to 3x. Finally, the source revealed that the phone will feature Hasselblad’s master mode, something the OnePlus 12 got via a software update back in January. This mode lets you take advantage of Hasselblad’s color tuning and control the saturation, sharpness, contrast, and vignette before you take the shot.

And well, that’s all we got to know via the source. The phone is definitely launching with the next flagship SOC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
