OnePlus 11R to feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 & 100W charging

The OnePlus 10R successor is expected to launch in Q1 2023

In April, we got the OnePlus 10R, a high-end phone featuring MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX and 150W fast charging. It was a rebadged OnePlus Ace (China) and launched in the Indian market only. Today, we got the key specifications of the OnePlus 11R, the successor to the 10R. These specifications were shared by OnLeaks in collaboration with MySmartPrice. We did not get any renders, so there is no information on the design yet.

While the OnePlus 10R featured a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chipset, the OnePlus 11R has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC. There will be up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and interestingly, the charging speed will max out at 100W, which is slower than the 150W charging of the OnePlus 10R.

The camera setup is identical to the OnePlus 10R, at least on paper. So, there is a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro. On the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie shooter. The display also seems to be the same, i.e., a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED.

As we know, the OnePlus 10R launched in two variants – 80W + 5,000mAh and 150W + 4,500mAh. So, comparing the specifications with the 80W variant of the 10R, the OnePlus 11R gets faster charging and a more powerful SOC.

We don’t know if the 11R will be an India-exclusive phone like its predecessor. There is no information on the launch date as well. Stay tuned.
