The much-awaited OnePlus launch event is happening in a week. As we already know, the company will launch not just the OnePlus 11 but also the OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro, and the OnePlus 11R. We already know everything about the OnePlus 11 since it launched in China. But the OnePlus 11R is a smartphone that is yet to launch in the Chinese market as well. This phone will launch in China as the OnePlus Ace 2, which is not surprising since the OnePlus 10R was named OnePlus Ace in China.
The company has shared the high-resolution images of the OnePlus 11R/Ace 2 on its Weibo profile, and we also have the device’s specifications, thanks to DCS.
Design-wise, the OnePlus 11R looks identical to the 11. The differences include a Blue color option, no Hasselblad branding, and a center-hole punch cutout. The phone does have an alert slider on the right, unlike the OnePlus 10R.
As for the specifications, OnePlus 11R has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1240 pixels). This panel is sharper than a 1080p panel but consumes less power than a 1440p panel. Under the hood, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone supports 100W fast charging & there is a 5,000mAh battery inside.
Camera-wise, there is a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor which could be the same Sony IMX890 sensor as the OnePlus 11. The second camera is for ultrawide shots & has an 8MP OmniVision OV08D10 sensor. The third camera has a 2MP OmniVision OV02B10 sensor. The selfie camera has a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9 sensor.
The price of the OnePlus 11R / OnePlus Ace is not yet known, but the OnePlus 10T also had the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC and was launched at ₹49,999. So, the OnePlus 11R may launch for around ₹40-45,000 in the Indian market.
