Last week, we got our first look at the design of the OnePlus 11 Pro and saw that unique-looking camera module which is going to be the main design highlight. Today, OnLeaks, who previously shared the renders, shared the phone specifications in collaboration with 91Mobiles. This is interesting because we are still in Q3 2022, and the OnePlus 11 Pro is expected to launch in Q1 2023.
Let’s start with the cameras because they are quite solid on paper. The phone has a primary camera with a 50MP sensor, a secondary ultrawide camera with a 48MP sensor, and a third camera with a 32MP sensor & a 2X telephoto lens. So this also confirms the fact that there is no periscope lens on the 11 Pro. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP camera in a hole punch cutout. Comparing this camera setup to the one on the OnePlus 10 Pro, the telephoto camera gets more megapixels (32MP vs. 8MP) on the 11 Pro but offers less zoom (2X vs. 3.3X).
Under the hood, there is Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and the phone has a big 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. For comparison, the OnePlus 10 Pro topped at 80W. There is a 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner sits under the display, and there are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The phone is also expected to have a 16GB variant.
Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box.
Well, the specifications are solid on paper, as always. But only time will tell how good this phone is.
